The most important calculation

Is Daily Advance worth paying for?

When cash flows daily, you can put it straight back to work – buying inventory, increasing advertising, negotiating better terms – whatever drives your growth.

Businesses use Daily Advance when the return they generate from faster access to cash outweighs the cost of accessing it.

Applying doesn’t commit you to using Daily Advance. Connect your sales data and we’ll show you your fee and the potential impact on your growth.

“I use the money to invest in more products and the income I make from these products is more than the cost of using Storfund.”

Pierina Montano Pierina

“Storfund charge a small fee. It's a nominal fee and they charge you by the day until the settlement is complete. It's worth it.”

How our fee is calculated

Here’s how it works:

  • Each day we add up the advances you’ve received.
  • Then we minus platform payouts.
  • We charge a fixed fee on this amount, equivalent to 0.3% or less per day.

Example at 0.3%. Your fee will never be higher than this:

  • Monday: $1,000 advance = $3 fee
  • Tuesday: $1,000 advance. $2,000 total = $6 fee
  • Wednesday: $1,500 platform payout. $500 total = $1.50 fee

When you stop, the fees stop. No fixed term, no long-term commitment.

No interest

Daily Advance isn’t a loan, so there’s no APR

APR assumes you borrow once and repay over time. Daily Advance is continuous – advances go up and down every day. With Daily Advance, there is:

No interest rate

No compounding

No fixed repayment schedule

You’re accessing revenue you’ve already earned, not borrowing against the future.

  • Loan (APR model)

    1. Day 1 Borrow $10,000
    2. Day 30 $8,000 remaining
    3. Day 60 $6,000 remaining
    • Fixed decline over time
    • Interest accrues regardless
  • Daily Advance

    1. Day 1 $1,000 advance
    2. Day 2 $1,000 advance. $2,000 total
    3. Day 3 $1,500 platform payout. $500 total.
    • Total moves up and down
    • Fees apply to the total on any given day

    Frequently asked questions

    Questions?

    • Why do we quote two percentages?

The fee is how we calculate the amount you pay. The effective cost answers a simpler question: what will Daily Advance cost your business?

    • Are there hidden fees or minimum commitments?

None. No interest, no subscription, no setup fee. Pay for what you receive, stop whenever you want, no cancellation fee.

    • Who decides my fee?

Your fee is decided by Storfund. Unlike competitors, financing decisions are not made by a banking partner. We advance funds from our own balance sheet, and we decide who we work with and what fees to charge.

    • How do you decide my fee?

Your fee depends on a few things – including your revenue and our assessment of risk. For example, using Storfund on more platforms could reduce your fee.

    • How are Daily Advance fees different from APR?

APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is designed for loans. It assumes:

      • A fixed loan amount
      • a fixed term
      • a fixed repayment schedule
      • interest that accrues over time

      Daily Advance works differently.

      • There is no fixed term
      • There is no fixed repayment schedule
      • Your balance goes up and down daily
      • Fees only apply if you are using the service

Instead of borrowing a set amount over time, you’re accessing revenue as you earn it – and repaying automatically as platform payments arrive.

Because of this, there isn’t a single “rate” that can be annualised in the same way as a loan.
