Debenhams Group - home to Debenhams, Karen Millen, boohoo, MAN and PrettyLittleThing - has launched a new cash flow solution giving its 30,000+ brand partners faster access to sales revenue as soon as orders are shipped.

Debenhams Group – home to Debenhams, Karen Millen, boohoo, MAN and PrettyLittleThing – has launched a new cash flow solution giving its 30,000+ brand partners faster access to sales revenue as soon as orders are shipped.

Now live on Debenhams ahead of the crucial Christmas trading period, Storfund’s Daily Advance solution allows partners to access their sales revenue daily, rather than waiting for the standard marketplace payment cycle, helping improve liquidity.

For shoppers, this could mean better product availability, greater choice and potentially more competitive prices, as partners have greater flexibility to reinvest in stock and respond to customer demand during peak trading periods.

Dan Finley, CEO of Debenhams Group, said: “Our marketplace-led strategy is built on creating an ecosystem where great brands can scale with us. As we grow our marketplaces, we want to make Debenhams Group the partner of choice for brands looking to reach millions of customers and accelerate their growth.

“Giving sellers faster access to their sales revenue gives them greater flexibility to reinvest in their businesses when they need it most – particularly as we head into peak Christmas trading. It’s another example of how we’re supporting our 30,000+ brands and making it easier to do business with Debenhams Group.”

Justin Hanna, Director of Platform Partnerships at Storfund, said: “Marketplaces have spent the last decade building better shopping, advertising, fulfilment and settlement experiences. Liquidity is the next frontier. When businesses have cash on hand to respond to demand, buy stock and invest in growth, that benefits the entire marketplace. Embedding Daily Advance within Debenhams gives sellers greater control over their cash flow at a crucial point in their growth.”

The launch comes as demand for Daily Advance has grown, with many Debenhams sellers already using the service through Storfund. In response, Debenhams has partnered with Storfund to embed Daily Advance directly into its marketplace, making it even easier for sellers to get paid faster.

“Giving sellers faster access to their sales revenue gives them greater flexibility to reinvest in their businesses when they need it most – particularly as we head into peak Christmas trading. It’s another example of how we’re supporting our 30,000+ brands and making it easier to do business with Debenhams Group.”

As part of the solution, Storfund will advance up to 80% of a partner’s shipped sales each day. When Debenhams Group makes its marketplace payment to partners, funds are deposited into a Storfund-nominated account. Storfund then releases the outstanding 20% balance to the partner, minus applicable fees.

Participation is optional and subject to Storfund eligibility, with no subscription or set-up fees and no minimum term. Eligible brand partners can use the service on sales made across Debenhams Group marketplaces, including Debenhams, boohoo and PrettyLittleThing, without any additional admin.

The announcement comes as Debenhams Group continues its transformation into a digital marketplace. Third-party sales now account for 38.9% of Debenhams Group gross merchandise value (GMV), up from 32.7% in the same period last year, as the Group continues to invest in making it easier for brands to scale across its platforms.
