Why continuous cash flow matters

We believe you shouldn’t have to borrow money because someone is holding onto yours

Oliver Whelan talking to camera

“With Daily Advance businesses can continuously sell, reinvest, repurchase, and continue to grow faster.

And that is the way that you're going to see compound growth - rather than the kind of moderate growth that they're able to achieve with capital products.”

Oliver Whelan Chief Revenue Officer
Isabel Simon talking to camera

“The growth of a business is directly tied to the number of times you can turn your money - that's your cash cycle.

The shorter that cycle is, the quicker and more often you can reinvest into inventory, new product lines, and advertising.”

Isabel Simon Account Executive

“Same year, same effort.

If you cycle your inventory 22 times a year instead of 10, you double what you can sell.”

Repayment comparison

Why does repayment speed matter with a Merchant Cash Advance?

Merchant Cash Advance is typically repaid via a fixed percentage of future sales. This means the total amount you pay is agreed upfront, regardless of how quickly the advance is repaid.

A fixed fee can make financing look simple: you know exactly what you’ll pay from day one. But your business doesn’t stand still.

If sales grow faster than expected and you repay early, the cost of fixed-fee financing can increase significantly when measured against the time you actually used the funds.

For example:

1

A business receives £100,000 with an £8,000 fixed fee.

2

If repayment takes 6 months, the fee is spread across 6 months.

3

If repayment takes three months, the business still pays £8,000 – so the effective cost is higher.

Frequently asked questions

Questions?

  • How is Daily Advance different from Revenue-Based Financing?

Revenue-based financing gives you a lump sum upfront which is paid back from your sales. Daily Advance doesn’t work in lump sums – it simply pays you revenue you’ve already earned.

  • Is Daily Advance a form of invoice financing?

In spirit, yes – both are about getting paid for revenue you’ve already earned, sooner. The difference is mechanical: invoice financing works from invoices you raise yourself, typically for B2B customers on 30- or 60-day terms; Daily Advance works from your platform sales data.

  • I have a credit line, why do I need Daily Advance?

Daily Advance and a credit line are different forms of financing: a credit line is extra money which needs to be paid back; Daily Advance is money you have already earned, just faster. A credit line has a limit, Daily Advance scales with your sales.

The two work well together. Your credit line is limited so works well for unexpected short term needs, while Daily Advance keeps your cash flowing.

  • What’s the difference between Daily Advance, Instant Payouts and Amazon Express Payouts?

Neither Instant Payouts nor Amazon Express Payouts are capital products, they are simply ways of making payments move more quickly through the financial system. Normally payments from platforms such as Shopify and Amazon take 1-3 days to clear; Instant Payouts and Amazon’s product, Express Payouts, deliver immediate payment.

However, both relate to money that has already been released and is making its way to you. Daily Advance is designed for money which is being held by platforms.
