Position

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive, Marketplaces & Platforms to join our commercial team and lead our efforts in new business acquisition with large, strategic platform partners. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value deals with global marketplaces, enterprise platforms, and ecosystem partners that serve sellers at scale.

This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear strategic mandate: expand our platform footprint and secure flagship partnerships in the B2C and B2B marketplace sectors.

You will report to the Sales Director, Marketplaces & Platforms, and work cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and customer success to close deals that unlock transformational growth opportunities for Storfund.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for strategic B2C and B2B platform partners.
  • Develop and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy for enterprise marketplaces and platforms across Europe, the UK, and the US.
  • Build relationships with C-level and VP-level stakeholders at marketplaces and ecommerce platforms.
  • Articulate Storfund’s value proposition and customise solutions that meet partner needs.
  • Collaborate with product and operations to shape commercial offerings and integration paths for strategic partners.
  • Represent Storfund at industry events, conferences, and in key commercial discussions.
  • Forecast, track, and report on pipeline and deal progress to sales leadership.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Sales Director on strategic sales planning and market expansion.

This is what we are looking for

  • 7+ years in enterprise SaaS, payments, fintech, or platform sales, with a strong track record of closing complex B2B deals.
  • Experience selling into or partnering with marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, or embedded fintech products.
  • Proven success in new business sales, ideally in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
  • Strategic and consultative selling approach; ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems (B2C and/or B2B) and the ability to tailor value propositions accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, managing a large pipeline, and iterating fast.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for in-person meetings and industry events.
